Throughout 2014, a total of 112 commercial aircraft around the world crashed. Plane Crash Records Bureau (Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Archives or Baaa) noted, of 112 accidents that have killed 1,326 people.

Malaysia Airlines MH370
The existence of Malaysia Airlines MH370 aircraft that carries 239 people, including seven citizens of Indonesia and 154 Chinese nationals it is still a mystery.

Malaysia Airlines MH17

Accident back on Malaysia Airlines as flight MH17 coded shot down in Ukraine 17 July. Ukrainian officials said there were 298 people in the plane, including 11 Indonesians. Until now the investigation into the shooting of the plane is still unresolved.

Baaa noted MH17 accident while flying the route Amsterdam-Kuala Lumpur, being the worst in the world of aviation events throughout 2014.

TransAsia Airways and Air Algerie


Last July TransAsia Airways plane flight number 222 had an accident in Taiwan, killing 48 passengers. The cause of the accident has not been elucidated.

Air crash also override Air Algerie with flight 5017, while flying from Burkina Faso towards Algeria. Plane crashes in Mali and killed 116 people. Alleged while the aircraft crashed due to bad weather.

AirAsia QZ8501

At the end of 2014m Baaa noted QZ8501 AirAsia plane disappeared on a flight from Surabaya to Singapore on Sunday, December 28th. Before disappearing, pilots will avoid thick clouds reported to the control tower in Jakarta.

AirAsia QZ8501 carrying 138 adult passengers, 16 children and 1 infant, plus luggage were 106 bales with a total weight of 1,305 kg.
