US police in St. Louis, State of Missouri, today shot dead a black youths aged 18 years at a gas station.
The Guardian newspaper reported on Wednesday (24/12), the incident happened within about three miles of the location shooting Michael Brown in August. The incident unleashed a wave of protests in several cities in the United States because of the sensitive issue of racism.
St. Louis police spokesman said a policeman shot dead a man who carries a gun and aimed his gun to him. He was alone with her. The incident occurred on the outskirts of Berkeley.
"Berkeley Police out of the car and approached the two men one of whom pulled out a gun and aimed his gun to the officer. In the act of self-defense, the officer fired his weapon several times until the wounded victims later died. The second man fled from the location. The police had brought the bodies of victims of scene, "a police statement said.
Officers are now investigating the incident which occurred at 23:15 local time. The crowd is starting to rage on the scene.
The police has yet to announce the identity of the victim, but locals call him named Antonio Martin.
This incident could re-ignite the issue of racism in America after Ferguson case last August.
