Valencia - The last series 2014 MotoGP season in Valencia belongs to Marc Marquez, who makes record 13th victory of the season and broke the record of Mick Doohan. While Valentino Rossi lock the runner-up status.
In the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Sunday (09/11/2014) night, Marquez earned his 13th victory of the season despite starting the race from the fifth starting position. Victory in Valencia is refining a very impressive appearance in 2014, where he wiped out a 10-game winning streak at the beginning of the year.
Maquez also broke the record belongs to Mick Doohan as the rider with the highest number of wins in a season. In 1997 Doohan won the speed record with 12 wins.
Racing in Valencia is also the inaugural position as the owner of Rossi runner-up status in the 2014 season Starting the race from pole position, the rider nicknamed The Doctor finished second.
Originally expected to compete with Jorge Lorenzo to win the runner-up, Rossi struggles were not as heavy as expected. Lorenzo failed to finish in this race after his crash on lap 13.
Final podium in Valencia belongs to Dani Pedrosa.
