Blackpool: little girl two-year-old died after taking the drug liquid methadone types belonging to her mother in Blackpool, Lanchasire, England. Sophie Jones mistook as a liquid he drank fruit juice.
The ambulance came three minutes after the victim's father, "Barry Jones, calling the emergency call 999". The father looks are providing help resuscitate Sophie, as instructed officers on the phone.
When Sophie was in the hospital, the victim's mother named Michelle King, sent two text messages to her husband. One of the SMS that read, "do not tell the police about methadone. Hide."
But police found narcotics in the backyard, in the child's bottle with a picture of cartoon characters.
"Sophie's death occurred due to the negligence of parents. They are supposed to protect the victim from all threats," said Superintendent of Police Andy Cribbin Lanchasire.
"This tragedy can be avoided, but it will eventually happen because the behavior of the parents who use illicit drugs within the family.
"Put the child drank methadone in place like putting a gun in the house. Events such as almost inevitable," added Andy.
