The United States Center for disease control (CDC) earlier this month warned citizens not to consume the products of Apple. It is reported to contain Listeria monocytogenes bacteria that are harmful to the mother hami, newborn, children, and adults.
The epidemic spread since before Christmas it has killed at least five people and rampant in eleven States, as reported by the LA Weekly, late last month. So far there have been nine cases override pregnant women even though there has been no report of miscarriage.
Although the illness from the bacteria in the Apple can be treated with antibiotics, but listorioasis could be threatening individuals with a weak immune system. The symptoms of this disease can develop within two months.
Outbreaks of these bacteria can also cause the death of more than e. Coli or salmonella.
Recently reported three children aged between five to 15 years suffering from meningitis and 26 other people had to be hospitalized.
Yet there was this Apple product descriptions pulled its release, however, the CDC advised citizens not to consume these apples.
"For the sake of prevention, CDC advised Americans not to eat the commercial product from Apple, including a variety of products that contain nuts, chocolate, or more before there is any more information," said a CDC statement.
