A comedy roast is meant to be over the top and controversial, but bringing up the tragic death of an actor, who many people in the room counted as friends seems a massive low blow and Comedy Central appear to agree as they're removing any references to Paul Walker's death from the Justin Bieber roast set to air at the end of the month.
Bad boy Bieber had requested the roasting by a slew of comedians, including Will Ferrell, but for some reason they really went hard on Walker and the car accident which claimed his life in December 2013. With Fast and Furious co-star Ludacris one of the celebs who went hard on Bieber, it seemed totally inappropriate that the late actor became the butt of the jokes, it's not like Justin hasn't given them enough material.
Shot this weekend in LA, Jeff Ross referenced the late actor when quoting Ludacris lyrics. He said: " 'Move b***h, get out of the way!' is what Paul Walker should've told that tree,"
"Too soon? Too fast? Too furious?"

Despite Ludacris' visibly offended reaction, Pete Davidson also went there with the Paul Walker jokes saying: "Just this past year, Justin got arrested for drag racing. Unfortunately, it wasn't with Paul Walker. What? He's doing great! He's got a movie coming out!"
Even Justin, who has sat through an evening dedicated to tearing apart his musical talent, looks, love life and past behaviour, said the jokes that went too far were the Paul Walker ones. Following the shooting, a rep for Comedy Central admitted it had gone too far and would remove the jokes when the show airs.

They said in a statement: "Roasts often push the limits of good taste and we give the participants full reign to try things knowing we have the edit to shape the show," "Sometimes the line is discovered by crossing it. The Paul Walker references will not be in the telecast."
