Nico Rosberg rose from his failure at the Singapore GP. In the opening practice session (FP 1) GP Japan, Friday morning, Rosberg set the fastest time. Rosberg who failed to finish in the Singapore Grand Prix two weeks ago, devoured along 5.8 km Suzuka circuit with 1 minute, 35 461 seconds.
Mercedes teammate, Lewis Hamilton closed to within 0.151 seconds slower than the German rider. Mercedes has a great opportunity to seal the constructors' title in Suzuka, if successful up to the podium with the position of the two, apart from their rivals, Red Bull failed to get the three points,
